Whether you’re an experienced eLearning designer, a teacher looking to leap eLearning, or an aspiring freelance eLearning designer, the most important thing is to have a strong portfolio. As I’ve mentioned before, potential employers and clients want to see evidence of your skills and abilities, and there’s no better way of becoming an eLearning designer, finding an eLearning job, or marketing yourself as an eLearning designer than by building an eLearning portfolio.
In addition to identifying the right domain name, picking the right tool to build your portfolio, and figuring out what you want to include in it, it can also be helpful to spend time reviewing and gaining inspiration from other eLearning portfolio examples.
So, in this post, I’ll share with you my list of must-see eLearning portfolio examples.
Amanda Nguyen
Amanda Nguyen is a learning experience designer based out of Syndey, Australia. What I love about her portfolio is how she balances a clean design while also showcasing her personality. Amanda’s use of animated icons and bold colors gives her portfolio a custom and novel feel.
Shirleen (Lin) Wong
Shirleen (Lin) Wong is an eLearning designer based out of Sydney, Australia. Lin’s eLearning portfolio is an excellent example of how polish, style, and personality can be combined into a cohesive experience. With Lin’s use of simple and creative colors, layouts, and emojis, her portfolio has the feel of a bespoke agency with personality.
Cath Ellis
Cath Ellis is an eLearning designer based out of Melbourne, Australia. Cath’s eLearning portfolio examples demonstrate a strong balance of quality and quantity. Using realistic mockup images, Cath’s does a fantastic job showcasing the versatility of her abilities.
